Douglas leads our policy work on international research partnerships.
Douglas leads our work on universities’ EU, multilateral and bilateral international research partnerships. He steers our policy development on Horizon Europe and Framework Programme 10. He is also leading projects on US and German research partnerships. Douglas has worked in policy for over 10 years, covering topics including criminal courts, charity regulation and electoral law before joining the Russell Group. He also has experience in parliament and communications. Douglas joined in September 2021, leading our work on innovation. He moved into the international partnerships brief in August 2023.
