Emily is responsible for managing all aspects of the Russell Group brand.

Emily is an events, communications and branding specialist with over 15 years experience in devising and delivering event programmes, rebrands and public relations for an extensive range of organisations ranging from fashion and publishing to education and public bodies.

She is currently Principal Brand Manager at the Russell Group, which represents 24 research-intensive UK universities. In this role she oversees all brand activity, including 
all issues relating to the Russell Group brand including its positioning in the UK and internationally.  As well as driving the organisation’s brand strategy, she is also leading the redesign and build of the new Russell Group website.

Emily holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature and a Masters in Victorian and Early Modern Literature from the University of Glasgow. She is passionate about theatre, film and the transformative quality of reading.  She also runs the Russell Group Book Club.
