Maddy Godin

She is responsible for the Russell Group’s policy work and stakeholder engagement related to widening participation, admissions, and student experience, including cost of living and mental health. She works with our members to ensure the Russell Group’s voice is heard by government and stakeholders while advocating for increased support for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Before joining the Russell Group, Maddy held various roles across the Canadian government and worked as a Policy and Research Associate at a social impact consultancy supporting leading international organisations and charities. She joined the Russell Group in August 2023.
