A Level results day 2018

16 August 2018

As students across the country receive their A Level results, Dr Tim Bradshaw, Chief Executive of the Russell Group, said: “Congratulations to everyone on their hard-earned A Level results and good luck to all students who are planning their next steps.

“For those who are entering Clearing, I know it can be a nail-biting time, but there are options and opportunities available to everyone.”

Now you've got your results, what happens next?

If you have exceeded your predicted grades and would like to change to a different university or course, you can use the UCAS Adjustment process. This allows you to contact universities which may have courses still available using your actual rather than predicted grades. More information on Adjustment is available from UCAS here.

If you didn’t receive or accept any offers or you didn’t meet the offers you received, you can go into Clearing. This is your opportunity to make the most of your grades and get into university.

If there’s a specific university you’re interested in, visit the university’s website for more information.
