International collaboration and overseas recruitment are conducted responsibly, and our members work closely with each other, Government and across the sector to protect national security and academic freedom.

Universities will continue to work closely with Government to build on the strength of Britain's research and education sectors, deliver the benefits of the new points-based immigration system and ensure a proportionate legislative response to national security risks, including through the National Security Bill.
