A high quality experience for all students - from teaching to wider support

The Office for Students has today (23 March) published its new strategy for 2022-25, setting out its objectives and approach to maintaining high standards in the university sector and ensuring a quality experience for all students.
Responding to the strategy, Sarah Stevens, Director of Policy at the Russell Group, said:
“Our members will always focus on providing a high-quality experience for all students – from teaching to wider support on wellbeing and employability. This is reflected in the high numbers of students going on to skilled employment after studying at our universities and non-continuation rates for our students which are below an all-time low national average.
“We welcome the Office for Students’ commitment to reduce the bureaucratic burden on universities and enable them to test innovative approaches to access and quality. This is particularly important as the sector responds to increasing financial pressures including the declining value of tuition fees which will be frozen for three more years.”
