Capitalising on Britain's investment in science

Ahead of the Chancellor's Spring Statement on 23 March, the Russell Group has written to him setting out its ideas on how Government and the sector can work together to make the most of the multi-billion pound investment in R&D announced at the Comprehensive Spending Review. 

In the letter, the Russell Group welcomes the Government's ambition to secure Britain's status as a science superpower and an innovation nation and pledges to do its part to deliver new knowledge, ideas and talent which will benefit the UK economy, society and culture for decades to come.
