Tokyo Statement - The need for long term and substantial investment in frontier research at research intensive universities

Research intensive universities are at the core of meeting a diverse range of complex global challenges. The Russell Group universities and other international higher education alliances believe that to continue to meet these challenges and the needs of a global society frontier research is essential. 

The Tokyo Statement signed on Tuesday 08 November outlines that vision.
