UCAS early applications

Commenting on the publication of early applications data by UCAS, Russell Group head of policy Sarah Stevens said:

“These courses and institutions have traditionally been in high demand but these figures are encouraging. We will get a clearer picture when full applications data for 2018 entry is available next year.

“The assurances we have had from government over the fees regime for EU students starting this year have been helpful but the long-term situation remains unclear. Clarity over the fees, funding and immigration regime EU students will face after Brexit is vital if we are to ensure UK universities can continue to attract the best minds from across Europe.”
