Universities UK, on behalf of the universities, are proposing a series of changes to the way the USS pension scheme operates in order to keep pensions affordable for employers while ensuring staff are not saddled with unrealistically high payments.

This 4-minute video outlines some of those proposals which are being taken forward and why they will keep pensions affordable without having a disproportionate impact on take-home pay.
