Enhancing the postgraduate experience

In collaboration with the UK Research Councils, other universities and charities, Imperial College London’s five doctoral training centres provide comprehensive training for postgraduates in fields as diverse as plastic electronics, chemical biology and energy futures. As well as high-quality training in research, students receive training in multidisciplinary, transferable skills and outreach activities. Imperial is now learning from the success of these centres to improve training for all postgraduate research students.
